Engaged

So, you're engaged?!

First Things First...

It's time for you to celebrate! This is such an exciting time for you and your fiancé - make sure to enjoy every second of your "engaged" life! Then, it's time for us to start chatting. Once you reach out, we will double check that I am available for your wedding date and you will get an information guide describing all the details to my photography packages.

Coffee Date Anyone?

Engagements-89.jpg

Then we will meet up for a coffee (or margarita) date and go over all of your wedding day details! Together, we will come up with a rough day-of-timeline, start looking at dates for engagement photos, I'll answer any questions you might have and we'll learn a little more about each other!

Engagement Session

It's time for our first session! We will work together to find the perfect location that reflects your personality and allows you to have fun in front of the camera. I'll get to see how the two of you interact together so we're all comfortable on the big day. And no need to worry about what poses to do - I'll be here to help you through the whole thing!

Bridals

A lot of my brides choose to have a bridal portrait session done, and man, I'll say it time and time again. This is by far MY FAVORITE session to do over anything that I shoot... For both selfish and practical reasons alike! I love getting to see my brides all dolled up for the first time and gush over how beautiful they are! Bridals are a relaxed session where you can spend time with your mom and MOH and see just how everything is going to look (and feel) on the wedding day. You can decide if your makeup is just how you wanted it, if your up-do looks good with your dress, if your shoes fit comfortably, if you have just the right amount of jewelry on and if your bridal bouquet is exactly how you had envisioned it. It also allows for more time on the wedding day for us to get pictures of you and your HUSBAND (how exciting is that to say?!) and have these bridals already done. And then one of the main reason why brides have a bridal session done is so they can get a beautiful portrait printed to display at the reception.

The Big Day!

Of course we will continue to chat leading up to the wedding day to make sure everything will run smoothly. And then before you know it, it'll be here! I will be around most of your day to make sure all the little special moments are captured. From you getting ready with all of your girls, to your dad seeing you for the first time, walking down the aisle, cutting your cake and then leaving that evening as a married couple! I'm here for the long haul! All so that you and your husband have images to cherish and pass down to your grand children from one of the most important days of your life.

Your Images are Ready

As soon as your images are done, you will get an email with the link to your gallery so you can view them immediately! You'll be able to share this link with all of your friends and family and download the images to your phone and computer. You should expect your images to be ready in about 4 weeks, but absolutely no later than 8 weeks!  You will also receive a USB of your images to use as a backup.

BFF's, Right?

And then after that... We're basically BFFs, right?! :) After you get your wedding day images I hope we continue to chat and see each other. Whether it's because we are working on ordering print products together, meeting up for another coffee date, or planning your next session (which may include babies...yay!) I hope that we remain friends and I can continue to watch your new family grow.

"Having Taylor as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made (other than marrying each other, of course!). Taylor truly goes above and beyond other photographers I've seen at weddings. She is the sweetest girl, and you will be so glad to include her in your wedding!"

Yes, I am a wedding photographer. But I am also much more than that throughout your wedding planning process and wedding day. I will help fix the tear drops in your makeup after the ceremony once the makeup artist has left. I'll ohh-and-ahh over you at your bridal portraits and feel so honored to be one of the first to see you all dolled up. I'll help pin boutonnieres and bustle your dress because let me tell you, those things are tricky! I'll help you come up with a day-of timeline and make sure you don't forget all those little details. I'll attempt to ease your nerves as I walk with you to your first look with your groom. I'll be the first to congratulate you as you and your hubby make it down the aisle. I'll probably dance with you at one point during the evening and I'll send you off into the night as I grab the very last picture from your wedding day right before I close the car door. Yes, I am a wedding photographer, but most importantly when it's all said and done, I hope to be a new lifelong friend.
